Kim Seokjin, also know as "Jin" is in the one of the biggest and sensational boybands, BTS. His role in BTS is being one of the vocalist and is the visual of the group due to his good looks and fun charms. He also produces music and even helps in lyricism sometimes. Jin is also apart of the UNICEF program and has also earned his Cultural Merit Badge. Born in Gwacheon, Gyeonggi-do which is a city in South Korea, he is different from the members as he never started underground or poor. He still remains humble despite the fame and for the fact that he was born in a rich family. Joining Bighit Entertainment, he did not know how to sing or dance and he had to practice extremely hard to catch up with the other vocalists. He know can hit high notes like Mariah Carey herself. Besides for all the work however, he is a very outgoing and loves to charm people with his "dad jokes." BTS would view him as a guardian who teaches them many different things and he tends to be the "chef" in the family and always cooks for the boys.

awake is jin's first solo song on the album Wings. this first song is a strong, sullen ballad with strong and high vocals that expresses his storyline hardships following the rest of the members.
epiphany is jin's second solo song and the intro of love yourself: answer. epiphany is a sullen, soft rock, and strong ballad type song. symbolism is expressed strongly throughout the video, such as the calla lily and notebook, the sense of going backward and forward, through time and through different versions of one's self, guiding oneself to self-love. the video also switches from black-and-white to color, showing contrast and symbolizing acceptance as well as resignation. following the bangtan universe storyline, which is an alternative fiction universe that bts likes to express in their work, the video implies that member Jin time travels back and forth different alternate universes to try and save his friends but finally realized that the answer to what he is searching for lies within himself, hence love yourself: answer
